Luisa Fernanda is a lyrical comedy in three acts by the Mardileno composer Federico Moreno Torroba (1891-1982) created on 26 March 1932 for the Teatro Calderón in Madrid, it is set in the mid-19th century, at the time of the reign of Isabella II and has a plot where the love triangle comedy of deceit and betrayal merges with political intrigue.

The legendary Dorè cinema of Madrid comes back to life in this adaptation of Luisa Fernanda for which we designed the sets for the international direction of Livermore. The resource of cinema as a meeting place during the 30s and 40s in which the story is set, one of the popular novelties of the time is the common thread.
