Giorgio Armani Launches ARMANI/ARCHIVIO website

with a party conceived and designed by Giò Forma

82nd Venice International Film Festival, Venice (IT)

On Saturday, August 30, the magic of cinema met the timeless elegance of fashion as Giorgio Armani celebrated the 50th anniversary of the maison at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. The iconic Tesa 113 in the Arsenale was transformed into a set conceived and designed by Giò Forma, where history, style, and artistry came together.

Just weeks after officially turning 50 on July 24, the maison unveiled Armani/Archivio—a visionary digital platform designed to open the doors of its heritage and showcase five decades of Mr. Armani’s creations. Guests were welcomed through a luminous corridor of LED portals—an immersive passage created by Giòforma to transport invitees into a living archive where past and present seamlessly intertwined.

The celebration unfolded with an intimate charity dinner in support of UNICEF, followed by a vibrant party for 500 guests, where the spirit of Armani resonated through every detail—a tribute not only to fashion, but to a legacy that continues to shape culture.
